Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area

Beginning April 1, 2025, the Mount Maolan Summit Area, including the restroom and viewing platform, will be temporarily closed to the public on weekends and national holidays. This measure is being implemented to accommodate ongoing construction work at the weather station and related operational adjustments. We appreciate your understanding.

Please note that the main gate will be closed during holidays, and access to the restroom and viewing platform will not be available.
