Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area

Judging from the traditional Bunun hundred-pacer snake patterns painted on the wall of the wooden single-storey house, rows of wild boar and monkey skulls under the roof edge, hunting gears such as curved knifes, long bows and stone axes displayed inside the house that seem to brag about past glory, it is not hard to see that the Bunun warriors are all outstanding hunters.
Strings of millet spikes hung from the roof beam suggest that the house owner knows the importance of saving for rainy days; the wayside pavilion in front of the house with wooden chairs and tables is where the owner typically holds a banquet; the owner's wife specializes in Tannan aboriginal cuisines such as mountain bitter gourds and pigeon peas,and can prepare an authentic aboriginal feast for visitors.
