Located in front and to the left of the only Kongming Temple in Taiwan, as well as within the confines of the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, the Shijia Village B&B was founded by Mr. Shi, a retired firefighter. The building is a brand new Western style house. Mr. Shi has turned the courtyard into a garden, striving to revive the local ecology and conserve special plants. The courtyard also contains a snail shaped fountain.
