Shuishe Pier is closed from April 23
Introduce
Recently, Sun Moon Lake Reservoir has suffered from a fairly low water storage level, and this makes walking the reservoir’s floating bridge risky. Thus, starting from April 23, no visitors may take boats at Shuishe Pier, and Zhaowu and Xuanguang Temple Piers have also been closed since April 1. Security guards are on patrol during the day at all the piers. Visitors may ask for help from them if necessary.
Visitors are also advised to learn about the lake-tour routes from boat companies in advance, to make sure their rights are unaffected.
