2024 Sun Moon Lake Taomi Firefly-watching Activity

• Activity Date: from Apr. 4 to May 12
• Meeting Location: Taoyuan Elementary School ( No. 68, Taomi Ln., Puli Township, Nantou County)
• Activity Details and Fee:

1. Firefly Viewing Activity: Adult ticket NT$130/person, child ticket NT$110/person (elementary school age or under). Free admission for children under 90cm.
   • Saturdays and Qingming long weekend shuttle: From 6:20-7:40pm, shuttles are available every 20 minutes
   • Sundays shuttle: 6:30pm / 7:00pm.
   • Workdays shuttle: 7:00pm
   • For firefly viewing, we suggest parking at the Paper Dome or Nina Chocolate Dream Castle à Walk to Taoyuan Elementary School to meet with the group (3 minutes)

2. Package Tour:
   • Fish and Shrimp Ecological Exploration:
     • NT$200/person, NT$50/child under age 6.
     • Every Saturday: 10:00am, 2:00pm, 3:00pm, Every Sundays: 10:00am, 2:00pm, 70-90 minutes duration
   • Grape Picking (Jabuticaba Tree):
     • NT$100/person, free under age 6.
     • Every Saturday and Sunday: 10:00am, 2:00pm, 70-90 minutes duration.
   • Nighttime Frog Viewing Activity:
     • NT$160/person, NT$50/child under age 6.
     • Every Saturday: 8:00pm

2024 Sun Moon Lake Dongguang Firefly-watching Activity

• Activity Date: from Apr. 19 to May 12
• Activity Details and Fee:

1. Holiday Firefly Viewing:
   • Every Saturday and Sunday from 4/19-5/12: 7pm.
   • Meeting Location: 6:50pm Meet at “Mujilan Story House” or at the square in front of the Nantou County Police Bureau.
   • NT$200/person, child ticket NT$120/person (elementary school age or under). Free admission for children under 90cm.
2. Recommended Itinerary – On an as-needed basis (Customized schedule, Flexible departure time)
   • Activity mixing can enjoy special offers. Holiday firefly viewing requires an additional fee of NT$180/person (original price is NT$200/person).
   • Expert Tour Guide – Mujilan Mountain Village Countryside Landscape and Biking Excursion: NT$500/person, 12 people per group, 2.5 hours duration.
3. Weekday Firefly Viewing (Reservations Required)

Sparkling Fireflies

• Meeting Location: 6:15pm., 6:45pm., 7:15pm., Meet in front of WeResort lobby
• Activity Details and Fee:
  1. Video commentary and ecological tour will take 30 minutes.
  2. Fee: Tour admission ticket is NT$250/person, Tour admission ticket + box lunch is NT$450/person, Tour admission tickets for 4 people + whole chicken lunch is NT$1,988.

1. Firefly Viewing Activities:

   • 6:30-7:00pm Meeting location is based on firefly viewing location: Bamboo Rock Garden or Shuishe Shopping Mall, 1th floor (GIANT Bike)

During the Sun Moon Lake Starlight Firefly Season Event (4/1/2024 – 5/31/2024), When you sign up to attend one of the firefly viewing activities hosted by the associations within the Sun Moon Lake jurisdiction (including Xinyi Township Office), and take a picture with the Oh! Bear team leader standup sign (you must be in the picture with the sign), and upload it on your personal FB or IG, and note #Sun Moon Lake Firefly Viewing Ecology Tour, you will automatically earn 1 gift at the designated locations. Quantities are limited, and only while supplies last.
