Sun Moon Lake offers gorgeous lake and mountain views and comprehensive bikeways. Every year, the number of people cycling here increases. Therefore, safety is of utmost importance. Before starting out, make sure to read safety information and be observant of the people cycling with you. When possible, seek needed information in advance.
- The Shuishe Dam Section is covered in wooden planks. Bike riding is prohibited along this section. Please walk your bike.
- The Yongjie and Tongxin bridges section has slopes and bends.Please reduce your speed or walk your bike.
- On both sides of 4K + 700 (Taipower control gate) are slopes. Please reduce your speed or walk your bike.
- Along both sides of the Boshan Ridge section are slopes and bends. Please reduce your speed or walk your bike.
