Traffic Control Measures on Major Roads
Announcement:
Time: October 17, 2026, from 08:00 to 23:00.
1. No Roadside Parking Zones –Location:
Location:
(1) The 2-lane section of Provincial Highway 21 between 60K+500 (at the intersection of Nine Dragon Spot) and 64K+300 (Shuishe Dam).
(2) The outer lane of the 4-lane section of Provincial Highway 21 from 60K+300 to 60K+500 (from the old Provincial Highway Youshui Lane intersection to Nine Dragon Spot).
(3) The 2-lane section of Provincial Highway 21A between 0K and 9K (from Nine Dragon Spot to the Sun Moon Sewage Treatment Plant).
2. Permitted Roadside Parking – Location:
Location:
A. The outer lane of the 4-lane section of Provincial Highway 21 at 64K+500 towards Toushe (parking is prohibited 20 meters before and after the Shuishe Tunnel and inside the tunnel).
B. The outer lane of the 4-lane section of Provincial Highway 21 from 60K+300 (Youshui Lane intersection) to Desolate Coffee.
3. Restricted Areas for Vehicles (Pedestrian Zones) – Location:
(1) Shuishe area, Yuchi Township:
Location: Mingsheng Street (excluding vehicles transporting seniors, pregnant women, or those with mobility issues, holders of a permit issued by the Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area Headquarters, and vehicles transporting goods for shops and residents), and Zhongxing Road (proceeding in accordance with police instructions).
4. Traffic control will be enforced in the above-mentioned areas. Except for government and emergency vehicles, no other vehicles are allowed to enter. We kindly ask all road users to comply with the traffic control measures to ensure smooth traffic flow and safety.
