Xuanguang Pier is the starting point of the 850-meter-long Qinglongshan Hiking Trail. Going up the stairs, visitors will arrive at Xuanguang Temple first. Further up, they can reach Xuanzhang Temple. Devout believers would come to Xuanguang Pier first by boat and then visit the two temples, as if in a pilgrimage. The hiking trail is thus also known as “the pilgrimage route.”
