Introduction

Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village is conveniently linked to the Sun Moon Lake through Sun Moon Lake Ropeway. The village’s European Garden and many other amusement facilities are famous throughout Taiwan. In particular, Naruwan Theatre’s indigenous singing and dance and Formosan Aboriginal Culture Square’s indigenous fests are not to be missed.

Water, land and air

Iconic adventures at the village Sun Moon Lake Ropeway provides birds-eye-views of the lake. There are two kinds of ropeway cars, the general ones and the cars with glass floors. Be sure to take the glass-floor cars if you want some exciting fun. When on the ground again, visit the village. Then, join a scenic lake tour. These are the best ways to explore the lake district, and they are suitable for visitors of all ages.

At the village, indigenous cultural displays and DIY events for families with young children are held. Visitors can learn about the lake district’s many indigenous cultures at once.

The cherry blossom fest

The village is planted with a wide range of flowering plants and trees. Each season, it is filled with floral beauty differently. Especially in the spring, a cherry blossom festival is held, celebrating the blossoming of several thousands of cherry trees. The scene is already mesmerizing in the day. At night, it becomes even more impressive under the Moon. In fact, the village is the only theme park where visitors can appreciate cherry flowers at night.

Maya Restaurant

The restaurant serves both western and Muslim meals. This is the place for locals to try something exotic. It is also ideal for Muslim visitors since the restaurant has certification from the Chinese Muslim Association. The Muslim-friendly place is even equipped with a prayer room and washlets.
