Along the way, the experience weaves in Thao cultural interpretation, landscape storytelling, sustainable resupply stations, and a certification system, ensuring participants don't simply pass through the landscape, but actively engage with nature, culture, and the spirit of sustainability. Shuishe Pier is not to be missed if you visit Sun Moon Lake. It is close to the lake area's transport hub, Zhongxing Parking Lot, and hotel-filled Shuishe Shopping District, where activities and performances take place often. It is also linked to Shuishe Waterfront Hiking Trail and Hanbi Hiking Trail. Visitors can relax here and immerse themselves in lake and mountain scenery.
Cycling Along the Sun Moon Lake Bikeway to Crescent Bay
Heading south from Xiangshan Visitor Center, you enter the Moon Lake area. This section features the Moon Lake Bikeway, where the route winds through rich ecosystems and varied forest scenery. On clear days, riders can catch a distant glimpse of Cien Pagoda on the horizon. Since boats do not operate in this part of the lake, it's an ideal spot for cycling or walking, perfect for soaking in a quiet moment of stillness.

Want to capture all the most beautiful views of Sun Moon Lake? Then try stand-up paddleboarding. Step onto the board and paddle in style toward the heart of Sun Moon Lake, where the dreamlike mountains reflected on the water create an unforgettable scene.
Xiangshan Visitor Center is both for tourism and administration use. The uniquely designed building has wood-patterned exteriors and wings that stretch like human arms embracing the earth. In addition, the two giant canopy structures, 34 meters long and 8 meters tall each, allow people to enjoy beautiful views of Sun Moon Lake from the top.
