Shuli River originates from a mountain/basin area which includes the Sun Moon Lake, Toushe, Donggui, and Wucheng. From the valley, there is Jiji Railway which goes all the way to the “secret garden” - Checheng. Checheng was once an important logging town in Taiwan, and Checheng-Shuili Bikeway leads to Yushan National Scenic Area Administration down the stream. The bikeway is about 4 kilometers long and it is a bit hilly. It is however suitable for people young and old.
