Activity Date: from Apr. 3 to May 11
Meeting Location: Taoyuan Elementary School ( No. 68, Taomi Ln., Puli Township, Nantou County)
1.Firefly Viewing Activity:
Adult ticket NT$150/person, child ticket NT$130/person (elementary school age or under). Free admission for children under 90cm.
- Saturdays and 4/3, 4/4 shuttle: From 6:20-7:40pm, shuttles are available every 20 minutes
- Sundays shuttle: 6:30pm / 7:00pm.
- Workdays shuttle: 7:00pm
2.Package Tour
(1). Fish and Shrimp Ecological Exploration:
- Fee: NT$200/person, NT$50/child under age 6.
- Every Saturday: 10:00am, 2:00pm, 3:00pm
- Every Sundays: 10:00am, 2:00pm, 70-90 minutes duration
(2). Grape Picking (Jabuticaba Tree):
- Fee: NT$120/person, free under age 6.
- Every Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am, 2:00pm, 70-90 minutes duration.
(3). Shitake Mushroom Farming Experience:
- Fee: NT$240/person (May take home 300 grams of fresh mushrooms), NT$50/child under 6 years of age.
- Every Saturday & Sunday: 10:00am, 50-70 minutes.
(4). Nighttime Frog Viewing Activity:
- Fee: NT$160/person, NT$50/child under age 6.
- Every Saturday: 8:00pm, 70-90 minutes duration.
3.Itinerary Recommendation: By reservation
- Passion fruit pineapple jam DIY: 6 paid portions are required to form a group (NT$280/portion)
- Golden rice cake DIY: 15 paid portions are required to form a group (NT$150/portion)
4.Special Package Purchased with Additional Fee (Available for purchase when attending one of the following activities in the Taomi area):
- Special price added for firefly viewing activity NT$110/person (original price NT$130/person).
- Cona’s Chococastle: Regular admission NT$170/person (original price NT$220). Elementary school or younger NT$160/person.
- Sun Moon Lake SUP: NT$1,980/person, 2 people to one paddle board, free for children under 6 years old. Anyone who participates in the standup paddle activity will receive one firefly viewing ticket in Taomi.

Meeting Location: 4:00pm Meet at “Mujilan Story House” or at the square in front of the Nantou County Police Bureau.
Fee:General ticket NT$350/person, young children NT$100/person (No DIY material will be provided to Kindergarteners or younger), Pay onsite. (Ticket covers transit connection, pre-departure briefing, firefly viewing guided tour, accident insurance in public spaces, environmental maintenance costs, meals, and DIY material).

3.Electric Bike Tour of “Old Sun Lake (Ri-Tan)” Community Culture
- Activity Time: Weekdays: 7:00pm
- Fee: During firefly viewing period from 4/3-5/22, discount ticket is NT$680/person (original price NT$850/person, including a value of $NT500 electric bike rental fee, a value of NT$350 in-depth village guided tour service, safety insurance, and ice cream). Minimum 6 people per group. Maximum 16 people per group.

Firefly-watching Recommended Tour
- To ensure personal safety and avoid disruptions to the fireflies’ ecosystem, all visitors are advised to follow the instructions of the tour guides.
- Keep quiet, do not capture (slap) fireflies and do not bring insect nets or boxes.
- Light-colored clothing with long sleeves, long pants and slip-resistant shoes (no sandals or high-heels) are recommended in order to prevent from foot injury or snake & insect bite.
- Please bring your own firefly-watching devices, such as a magnifying glass, firefly guide, drinking water, notebook and any needed personal medicines. If you bring a flashlight, please cover the light with red cellophane.
- Locations for watching fireflies are mostly on trails and in wilderness areas, so those with cardiovascular diseases or physical injuries should not register.
- All firefly-watching activities are at night. If you have children with you, you are responsible for monitoring them (Participants younger than grade 1 are not recommended). While watching fireflies, please do not run, jump or make loud noises. Parents should also guard their children's safety.
- It is security that is the most important consideration for firefly watching at night. Therefore, it is not allowed to leave the group without permission by the group leader.
- Please do blackout for avoiding disturbing the firefly ecology. While approaching the area of the firefly ecology, do not turn on the headlight of your car, and do not use any flash lamp of the cellphone or the camera.
