Maopukeng Creek Ecological Park

Introduction

Bamboo bridges, pavilions, two giant dragonfly statues, and Gunther's Amoy Frogs rest on the grass in the Maopukeng Creek Ecological Park as if they are greeting visitors.
The water in the Maopukeng Creek is very shallow and is an important source for agricultural irrigation for neighboring areas. Besides planting native plants along the creek banks, local residents also adopted ecological engineering techniques to construct an ecological pond based on the waterway. It is now a wetland park that serves both to conserve the local ecology and offer recreational enjoyment for local residents. You can see more than 10 species of dragonflies, damselflies, frogs, and birds.
