 | Shueishe is Sun Moon Lake's vehicle transfer area, and has a concentration of hotels. It is also the location of a famous scenic commerce street. There is a beautiful view from Shueishe Wharf. The perfectly designed floating wharf has not lost its classically elegant appearance through modern design, and many activities and performances take place here.

| The Shueishe Visitor Center came into being on August 30, 2006, with the purpose of providing visitors to Sun Moon Lake with a solid and complete tourist service. There is a vast, unlimited view when looking south toward Sun Moon Lake's bay. This is the entrance and departure point for the Shueishe Area and the Hanbi Peninsula. The Jhongsing Car Park, located nearby to the south, will serve Shueishe Park. The scenic commerce street to the east is Shueishe's business circle. To the north is the transportation link to the round-the-lake highway. Thus, Shueishe occupies a key position regarding transportation in the Sun Moon Lake area.
This visitor center has four above-ground levels and one underground level. The first floor includes a display area of early culture. Pictures show the historical and cultural development of the Sun Moon Lake area residents. A multi-media room provides audio-visual and briefing functions, and can seat 72 persons. The first floor also has a display of local agricultural products, and the Yuchih and Shueili Farmers Association work together with the Yuchih Township Office to sponsor various activities here. The second floor is the visitor center, and in addition to a service desk that provides tourist information, there is a revolving chair where one can view images of Sun Moon Lake, a display of brochures, and four multipurpose television walls that provide a touch tour-guide system. At any time, they can broadcast information on Sun Moon Lake for the enjoyment of the tourists. As for the partially outdoor plaza, there are four informational pillars to display four of Sun Moon Lake's main themes: specialist products, handicrafts, cuisine, and cultural activities. Located close to Jhongshan Road, a back car-park has been designed, and it provides joint water and land transportation services. At this stage, the third and fourth floors are currently used for art and cultural displays in co-operation with various activities.
