The FACV has been in service 16 years, and is still expanding its facilities by year to please an increasing number of visitors. These include the highest free-fall UFO facility in the country, the best roller coaster “Mayan Adventure,” and the “Gold Mine Adventure” ride.
In particular, FACV’s aerial tramways, which span across the FACV and the Sun Moon Lake, are the newest, longest and highest ones in Taiwan. Made by Austrian company “Dppelmayr” with their top-notch technology, the silver-grey shining trams are more beautiful than all those that you find in Santosa in Singapore, Genting in Malaysia, or Ocean Park in Hong Kong. There are 26 trams in FACV, each able to accommodate 8 passengers. At 30km/hr, the trams can take as many as 1600 passengers every hour, with a single trip of only 3 minutes. The trams are comfortable, beautiful, convenient and environment-friendly. They function both as transportation means and entertainment facility. Just take one of the aerial trams and enjoy the 40-meter-high birds-eye-view of the park. By observing the place like a flying bird, you will feel refreshed with this unusual experience.
As for entertaining shows, there is the Naruwan Theater, which offers two to three aboriginal singing and dance performances per day. There are also festive shows at the Culture Square.
